By accessing or using the MyMedicineDiary application and website at mymedicinediary.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
MyMedicineDiary is an AI-assisted medicine management application. It helps you identify and catalogue your medicines from photos, keep a personal dosing schedule with reminders and a confirmation history, read source-cited information about your medicines, and log self-measured blood pressure readings.
The information in MyMedicineDiary is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only. It is compiled from publicly available sources — including FASS/Läkemedelsverket, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and similar regulatory publications — that anyone can search and access independently. This information is not, and is not intended to be, a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
MyMedicineDiary and its operator are not doctors, pharmacists, nurses, or licensed healthcare professionals, and we do not provide medical, pharmaceutical, or clinical services of any kind. Using the Service does not create a doctor-patient relationship, a pharmacist-patient relationship, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and us.
Always seek the advice of your physician, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider with any question you may have about a medication or a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read or saw in the Service.
The AI assistant answers questions using cited public sources and always directs you to a doctor or pharmacist for medical decisions. It will never diagnose you, give dosing advice, or advise you to start, stop, or change a medication. The Service is not a substitute for the patient information leaflet or your prescriber's instructions.
The Service uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to read medicine labels, pharmacy stickers, and instrument displays, and to retrieve information about medicines. These automated systems can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or simply wrong.
You are solely responsible for independently verifying every value shown or extracted by the Service before relying on it in any way — including the identity of a medicine, its dosage, any blood pressure reading, and any described interaction.
MyMedicineDiary is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a regulated medical device. It does not compute or recommend dosages and does not clinically interpret any reading. Blood pressure values are transcribed from your own device's display and shown back to you without clinical interpretation; reference bands shown on charts reproduce publicly published classification tables for informational context only.
The Service is not for use in a medical emergency. If you suspect an overdose, a serious adverse reaction, or any other medical emergency, immediately call your local emergency services (112 in the European Union, 911 in the United States) or your local Poison Control / Poison Information Center. Do not rely on the Service in an emergency.
You use the Service, and you rely on any information it provides, entirely at your own risk. You remain solely responsible for every decision you make about your health and your medications.
THE SERVICE, AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, AND FUNCTIONALITY PROVIDED THROUGH IT, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IT PROVIDES IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE OPERATOR OF MYMEDICINEDIARY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY HARM, INJURY, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON, THE SERVICE OR ANY INFORMATION IT PROVIDES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED EUROS (€100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyMedicineDiary and its operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or your reliance on any information it provides.
You may try 2 medicine scans without creating an account. Continued use of scanning, reminders, the AI assistant, and other features requires a simple subscription — cancel anytime. Pricing is shown in the app before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through your app store account or in-app settings.
You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service, including photos, notes, and medicine data. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service to you.

When you invite a caregiver to a profile, they can access that profile's data according to the permission level you grant (view, confirm, or manage). You are responsible for managing who has access to your profiles.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
You may delete your account at any time in the app or via our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, the jurisdiction of the Service's operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. This does not limit any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden, subject to those mandatory rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
